I did not realize how easy it is to be a slacker, as one of my friends says when it comes to keeping up with doing things daily. Yesterday was spent at Sylvie's Studio www.sylviebeads.com you should check out her web site. Sylvie makes these wonderful beads/bead kits that you combine seadbead work and her glass to make wearable art. Today I will most likely take pictures of some of the jewlery that was taken to the Botanical Gardens show and list them on my Art Fire site where they will be for sale. Saving the best news for last I was awarded the Southern Flames Scholarship this year to go to the Gathering in Rodchester NY. The Gathering is a yearly convention that moves around to a different location every year, lampwork artist from all over the world come together for classes, lectures, demonstrations, and just all out FUN.
